Restylane ® Treatment

Restylane ® and Juvederm ™ are proven to deliver a longer-lasting effect than traditional collagen. In addition, bovine collagen is derived from animals (cows) and requires an allergy test. Because Restylane ® and Juvederm ™ are non-animal-based, virtually any risk of animal-based disease transmission is eliminated, and it can be administered without pre-testing. No waiting is required. Restylane ® and Juvederm ™ last twice as long as collagen, so treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Evidence shows that a touch-up treatment before the product fully dissipates enhances the duration of the effect.
